Ubuntu 8.04 - Hardy Heron Released

The time has arrived for the Ubuntu users out there. Hardy Heron, the latest version of Ubuntu has been released last 21st of April 2008. The version has many upgrades. For me I need to download 1022MB for the upgrades. You can download the full software here or you can copy and paste this url to your address bar: http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/download

Upgrading is as simple as 1 2 3. Just open your System > Administration > Update Manager and you will find a notice “New distribution release ‘8.04′ is available” with a button “Upgrade”.

Here’s a sample picture:

After pushing the upgrade button you will just need to follow the on-screen instructions.
