Stop Badware with Google

Last time, I posted about Google’s -60 Penalty and now when surfing the net, a warning page loaded instead of the site I really want to. The reason is the site is Reported as Attack Site, this is a cooperative work of Google and StopBadware.Org.

All reported site’s should follow the Google’s standard software guidelines for it not to fall in this situation.

Says Google

But do Google really need to do this in order to fight badwares in the web, or it is just the way to tell us “we own the world wide web so you should follow OUR rules”?

Just like what happened in Yahoo! who’s working with McAfee with the new Search Scan^Beta.
