Introduction to Niche Blogging
Last time, I introduced the Blog Networks, now I will try to introduce Niche Blogging.
In a simple term, Niche Blogging are blogging in which you exclusively focus on a specific subsection of a general (and usually popular) topic. A blog that focus entirely about mobile phones in a Gadgets and Technology as a General Topic is an example.
Thinking of your interests, when you are interested in a particular hobby or topic, the chances are thousands or even millions of peoples also like that particular topic. So, searching for a blogging niche is very simple or rather you don’t need to.
I’ll give an example - You are watching Chuck and that is your favorite TV show (and that’s my favorite TV show too) and in particular you are not the only one who want to know more about that show, right? Now, the general topic for this one is Entertainment but if you go down further in it’s subcategory you will arrive in the TV Shows topic in which you can use as your Blogging Niche and you can also go further to another subcategory of Chuck Series as to what you like and this is now explained below.
There are also called Extreme Niche Blogging in which the whole concept is in the title already, Niche Blogging to the Extreme. If you want an example then go to this blog: http://www.magicpixel.com.au/epson4800blog/. That blog is about Gadgets and Technology in which is the General Topic and going down to Printers as it’s subcategory in which you will find Epson 4800 Printer as for it’s Extreme Blogging Niche.
So be sure to choose the right niche for you before tackling a topic in which you will lose interest at the end.

wow, extreme niche blogging indeed (for the 4800 example). that’s the kind of niche blogging i want to do, in the future maybe. because right now, i think you need to be some sort of an expert, at least on a certain topic or as you say, you must be extremely enthusiastic about it before you choose your “extreme niche”.. and because a niche such as “entertainment” or “tv series” for example is still considered a broad topic, i suppose extreme niche blogging is the way to go..what i need to do now is figure out what i like most and where i’m good at (hahaha..that will be tough..).. thanks for writing this angelo.. cheers! :)
